Purpose

A trusted support space for girls.

Balika Manch helps girl students talk about academic, emotional, domestic, health, and safety concerns in a guided environment. For parents, it is a clear assurance that students have caring adults, structured support, and a respectful path to speak up early.

Safe, private, respectful

Concerns shared by students are handled with sensitivity and routed to the right mentor or committee support when required.

Confidence Building

Activities and conversations that help girls speak with clarity, ask questions, and participate with confidence.

Mentor Support

A caring channel for academic, emotional, and personal concerns that students may not easily share in open settings.

Rights Awareness

Age-appropriate guidance on dignity, respect, personal boundaries, and the rights every student should understand.

Personal Safety

Awareness around good touch and bad touch, safe choices, trusted adults, and reporting unsafe situations.

Health & Hygiene

Supportive sessions on menstrual hygiene, wellbeing, self-care, and practical habits for everyday school life.

Support Flow

How a concern is supported.

01

A student can reach out to a class teacher, mentor, counsellor, or school authority she trusts.

02

The concern is heard with privacy, respect, and a student-first approach.

03

Teachers and mentors guide the student with counselling, parent coordination, or committee support where needed.

04

Follow-up is maintained so the student feels supported beyond the first conversation.
