The years a student spends in THE KONARK ACADEMY enable him/her to acquire sound principles of conduct and action, and lay a solid foundation for true and purposeful living he/she attains Principles of honesty, trust, cooperation, self-reliance, and hard work are inculcated through various school activities. In these activities the boy/girl learns to do things for him/herself under the steady supervision and guidance of moderators.
Prefect System
It is a body of students appointed by the Principal and it functions under the guidance of various coordinators.
House System
To promote team spirit, group loyalty and healthy competition among the students, every student from grades 1 to 8 is placed in one of the four ‘HOUSES’. The school provides the platform for students to exhibit their talents by organizing various Inter-house Competitions.
Every house is headed by the House Captain and House Vice-Captain. The House will also have house Prefects. A member of the staff, assisted by several other teachers (tutors) act as House Master. Points are awarded to students of each House throughout the year for co –curricular activities, games & sports.
