Admission Guidelines

The Konark Academy offers a high quality educational experience and nurturing environment that fosters sharp learning skills. We are proud of the caliber of our staff and the work that they do; we are even prouder of the students with whom we work day by day.

At The Konark Academy we have strived to make our admission process as simple as possible to ensure that all prospective parents enjoy a stress free application experience.

Admission Process

ENQUIRY FORM

Parents can fill the Enquiry Form on our website or can visit the school admissions office.

INFORMATION

School counsellor will connect with the parent to collect the required information and share information about the school and schedule a campus visit.

CAMPUS VISIT

On the day of campus visit, the parents and the student will have an interaction with the Principal and will be then requested to purchase the prospectus along with Admission Kit.

SUBMISSION

Parents are then requested to submit the Application Form for their child’s school admission with all necessary documents.

FEE PAYMENT

Parents can confirm the admission by paying the admission and quarterly fee.

ENROLLMENT

The child enrolment number is generated and the admission process successfully comes to an end.

General Rules & Regulations for
Admission

  • Students are admitted on First Come, First Served basis depending on vacancies.
  • We conduct no formal interviews with the child or the parent.
  • Selected candidates will be required to make the fee payment within 7 days of the submission of admission form.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the parents to clear the fees on or before the due dates.
  • Late fee charges of Rs. 50 per day applicable if fees is paid after due date.
  • Fees payable by cheque/NEFT only in the favour of “THE KONARK ACADEMY”
  • In case cheque is dishonoured, a fine will be levied.
  • In the event of non-submission of fee within a stipulated time from the date of submission of the form, admission will be cancelled if the school management deems.
  • Books, stationery, uniform, excursions, emergency health care and other special event expenses are not included in the above fees.
  • Transport fee will be as per distance and will be informed through Transport section in school office.
  • Transport fee to be paid quarterly along with the tuition fee.

List of documents required at the time of admission

  1. Six Passport Size Photographs of Student, Father, Mother & Guardian
  2. Original Birth Certificate of the student and one self attested copy
  3. Original School Transfer Certificate of the applicant (Applicable for Grade I onwards)
  4. Copy of Report Card of previous class
  5. Copy of Residence Proof (Rent agreement, Voter ID, Electricity bill)
  6. Aadhar Card copy of Applicant
  7. Copy of photo identity of Parents and Guardian
  8. Bank account details of either Parent (Attach copy of cheque or front page of passbook)
  9. Family ID

Withdrawal

  • Parents opting for withdrawing their child from the school at the end of the academic session will be required to apply for the Transfer Certificate before 31 March. If the parents apply after the time deadline (31 March) will have to pay full fees for approaching academic year to obtain the Transfer Certificate.
  • If in case parents applying for Transfer Certificate in between the ongoing academic session will still need to pay the full fees of that year.
  • A student can also be asked to leave the school at the discretion of the Principal on anyone of the following grounds: a) Indiscipline b) Unsatisfactory performance in academics
